The Ambassador is a T10 island boss located in the Imperial City.

The Battle

The Ambassador is a mostly-stationary boss that uses bullet-walls and other high-density, slow-moving bullet patterns to clutter up the screen. Its bullet-walls reach to the outer edges of the arena, so the only ways to dodge the wall is to move through the gaps in the bullet pattern or to flee from the boss's tile. The Ambassador has invulnerability periods based on its minions, and will become vulnerable for a short period of time if all of the minions of that phase are destroyed.

Vulnerability Routine

When The Ambassador is vulnerable, it moves semi-erratically on a triangular route while firing radial shotguns of mid-sized bullets that cause moderate damage. If a certain amount of time passes and the specific HP thresholds for phase transition have not been reached, the phase repeats.

Phase 1

The Ambassador spawns three Cat Representatives that fire a nearly continuous volley of bullets that merge inwards, then expand outwards as high-density bullet walls to the outer edges of the arena. These walls do very large amounts of damage if a player runs into them, but have holes in them that the player can fly through to avoid damage. The Cat Representatives fire a couple small, relatively low damage bullets from time to time and The Ambassador fires radial patterns of mid-sized bullets that cause substantial damage if you run into them, although not as much as grazing the wall. When the Cat Representatives are all destroyed, the Ambassador becomes vulnerable and follows its Vulnerability Routine. It must be lowered to approximately 67% of its HP to progress to Phase 2.

Phase 2

The Ambassador spawns many Diplomats in many directions that move in small bursts of movement. They typically face the closest player and occasionally fire mid-sized bullets that do expected amounts of damage. To progress through this phase, all Diplomats must be killed by either shooting them down or baiting them to run into a wall or out of the arena. Meanwhile, The Ambassador spins and fires two continuous volleys of energy bullets and line-bullets at once. Once that is done, The Ambassador follows its Vulnerability Routine again, and its HP must be reduced to approximately 33% to progress.

Phase 3

The Ambassador spawns SIX Cat Representatives that form an outer ring of three Reps and an inner ring of three Reps. The outer ring fires a wall of bullets outwards and the inner ring fires a wall of bullets that merges inwards and then expands outwards like in Phase 1. The inner ring of Reps is invulnerable while the outer ring of Reps is alive, and The Ambassador is invulnerable while the inner ring of Reps is alive. Unlike in Phase 1, all of the Cat Representatives now fire 6-bullet radial shotguns around them that cause high amounts of damage as well. This is the densest bullet pattern of all three phases, and also the most dangerous. Once both rings of Reps are defeated, The Ambassador follows its Vulnerability Routine again. Be quick to kill it now, or it'll do this phase again!

The Loot

The Ambassador, like any other world or event boss, has a 1% unscaled damage of the boss's HP requirement to earn loot. Possible loot drops include Rubber Sealant (Always), Tier 8 Equipment (Sometimes), Tier 9 Equipment (Rarely), and Mirror Aura (Ultra-Rare). It may also drop the dungeon Super Secret Base upon death.
